to Heaven and come back to tell us is Jesus Christ and that is recorded only in the Bible.
In Matthew 7:13,14 Jesus tells us, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
Jesus said that many people are on the way to Hell [on the wrong road] and it is a very broad road. Are you one of those people? Jesus said, there are not many people on the way to Heaven!
Perhaps you are thinking, “I am trying my best, I am doing what I think is right.” Read with the Bible has to say about that in Proverbs 16:25. “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Is not a matter of what you think is right, it is a matter of what God says is right. If you are going to get to Heaven you have to go God’s way!
Jesus very clearly said He is the only way to Heaven. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The road to Heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ alone. You cannot put your faith in Jesus Christ and anything and get to Heaven. If you want to get to Heaven you must have your faith in Jesus Christ alone. If you put your faith in good works and Jesus, Mary and Jesus, or Jesus and anything else you will not end up in Heaven but you will end up in Hell. Jesus very clearly says He alone can save you.
Understand this, if you add any thing to Jesus Christ and his finished work you are not on the correct road. Read Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. The name of Mary can’t save you. The name of some saint can’t save you. The name of the Pope can’t save you. Salvation is only through Jesus Christ and Him alone.
